Frequently Asked Questions

Our standard repair time is 4 to 5 weeks.

All of our watches are covered by a 2-year warranty, with an option to extend it for an additional 12 months

No, straps are not covered by the product warranty.

The lifespan of our leather straps varies significantly depending on personal habits and usage conditions.
On average, they last from a few months to over two years. The factors that most influence their durability include: the specific type of leather (some varieties are naturally more delicate), environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature, the chemical composition of an individual’s sweat, and potential contact with cosmetic products.
It is important to note that our straps are made without chemical treatments, preserving their authenticity and naturalness.

To verify the authenticity of your watch, please email our customer service (service@u-boatwatch.com) with photos of both the front and the back of the watch.

Every repair is covered by a one-year warranty.

The U-BOAT warranty covers defects in conformity and is valid only if: 1) the watch was purchased from an authorized U-BOAT retailer, 2) the warranty certificate has been accurately filled out in all sections, and 3) the certificate is accompanied by the original purchase receipt. The warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by misuse, loss, or theft. Misuse also includes any modification or replacement with non-original U-BOAT components and/or by unauthorized personnel or centers. Any tampering by unauthorized third parties and/or use of non-original U-BOAT parts automatically voids the warranty certificate.

If worn on the wrist, the watch can withstand any temperature. However, exposure to very high or very low temperatures may affect its functionality.

Your U-BOAT is a precision mechanism that, like any sophisticated instrument, requires regular maintenance.
Over time, various factors can affect the performance of the watch: gravitational forces, exposure to magnetic fields, accidental impacts, and the natural aging of internal lubricants. Even water resistance may gradually decrease due to the deterioration of seals, frequent use of the crown, temperature variations, and exposure to sweat or personal care products. To ensure optimal functionality and extend the life of your watch, we recommend having it serviced professionally every 3-4 years at our authorized centers.
